The first World Cup I went was in 1930. It was the first world cup and nobody had any experience. It took place from 13 of July to July 30. All the matches were play in Uruguay´s capital, Montevideo. There were 13 teams and 18 matches played. The first match I went to, was France against Mexico. It was a very exciting and entertaining match for the time where everything was very different. France won 4-1 and passed to the semifinals. In the semifinals Uruguay played against France and Argentina against United States. Uruguay and Argentina passed to the final. It was a very exciting day for everyone and the match was very good and interesting. Uruguay won 4-2 and won the first world cup in history.
